To provide dedicated support for women facing serious threats and vulnerabilities, United for Humanity has established specific eligibility criteria for the Humanitarian Visa H4042. Applicants must meet at least one of the following conditions:
1. Threat of Physical Violence or Harm
Women who are facing serious threats in their country of residence or a secondary country, including:
Domestic or physical violence
Sexual assault or rape
Honor killings or family-based violence
Threats of mutilation (e.g., amputation as punishment)
must provide sufficient evidence to verify these threats.
2. Forced Marriage or Child Marriage
Women who have been forced into marriage or married at an early age and are suffering physical or psychological consequences due to such marriages, including:
Marriages under social or family pressure
Marriages that restrict women’s individual rights
Denial of access to education, employment, or personal freedom
3. Pregnancy or Motherhood in Crisis Conditions
Women who are pregnant or mothers in crisis situations or armed conflict and lack access to medical and health services must submit relevant medical documentation regarding their pregnancy or health status.
4. Threat of Human Trafficking
Women who are at risk of being trafficked or have been exploited as part of human trafficking networks in their home or secondary countries and lack effective protection from their government must provide documented evidence, such as international reports and medical records.
5. Threat of Losing Custody of Children
Women who, due to social or political conditions, are at risk of losing custody of their children or being forcibly separated from them must present legal documents or official evidence to support their claim.
6. Valid and Verifiable Documentation
Applicants must submit acceptable and credible documentation to verify their vulnerable status, such as:
Medical or psychological reports, or official certifications
Police reports or human rights organization statements
Testimonies from recognized humanitarian or international organizations
Any other credible documentation proving their risk or vulnerability
Note: Women residing in crisis-affected countries such as Afghanistan, Pakistan, Iran, Eritrea, Ukraine, Turkey, and others must provide substantial and credible evidence of the above-mentioned conditions.

Submitting an application does not guarantee approval. All cases are reviewed by United for Humanity’s legal and humanitarian experts. Upon approval, the process for visa issuance and relocation will begin.
