Offered by United for Humanity
As part of its commitment to protect vulnerable children, United for Humanity offers a specialized visa program known as the Children Protection Visa (Code H4043). This visa is intended for minors residing in secondary countries (i.e., not their final destination) who are exposed to serious physical, psychological, or legal risks.
To be eligible for this visa, children must meet at least one of the following conditions:
1. Unaccompanied or Without Family Support
Priority is given to children who:
Have lost both parents, or whose parents are unknown or missing;
Have been abandoned by their families, or are not under the care of any responsible adult;
Are living in informal settlements, unsafe camps, or on the streets.
2. Exposure to Violence or Abuse
Children facing any of the following risks may qualify for this humanitarian visa:
Physical or sexual abuse;
Forced labor or engagement in hazardous or illegal work;
Child marriage or early forced marriage;
Threats or coercion to participate in armed conflict or extremist groups.
3. Urgent Medical Needs
Children requiring immediate medical attention or specialized treatment not available in the secondary country may be eligible for this support. Valid medical documentation is required.
4. Severe Psychological Distress
Children suffering from trauma caused by war, displacement, abuse, or prolonged isolation may apply for this visa if they can provide psychological reports and official assessments confirming their condition and need for care, counseling, and a safe environment.
5. Risk of Deportation to a Dangerous Homeland
If a child is at risk of being deported to their country of origin where they may face serious threats to their life or mental well-being, United for Humanity will assess the situation and may intervene with protective actions.
Required Documentation
Identification documents (if available);
Death certificates of parents or legal documentation proving guardianship status;
Medical or psychological reports from health institutions or legal-medical authorities;
Support letters from recognized organizations or social services;
