Social Integration & Adaptation Counseling (B3034)
Living in a new country can be a challenging and difficult experience; from learning the language to understanding the culture, laws, social structures, and building human relationships. These challenges, especially for refugees and resettled individuals, can lead to isolation, anxiety, and an inability to effectively communicate with the host society.
The United for Humanity Charity Organization, aware of these needs, offers free, confidential, and non-discriminatory social integration and adaptation counseling services to eligible applicants through the official B3034 form.
What are the goals of these services?
Facilitating the process of cultural, linguistic, and social adaptation to the new society;
Reducing stress caused by entering an unfamiliar environment and overcoming feelings of isolation;
Helping create a sense of belonging and active participation in society;
Empowering applicants to communicate effectively with educational, medical, legal, and administrative institutions;
Providing pathways to education, employment, and social activities.
The services provided include:
Individual or family counseling to address adaptation issues;
