Psychosocial Support & Counseling (B3033)

Living in unstable conditions, migration, separation from family, experiencing discrimination or violence, or long-term residence in a third country can have profound effects on the mental and social health of individuals and families. The United for Humanity Charity Organization, with a deep understanding of these challenges, provides free and confidential counseling and psychosocial support services to eligible applicants.

What are the goals of these services?
Our goal is to strengthen the mental and social well-being of applicants so they can face the challenges of migration, resettlement, and new life with greater strength. These services focus not only on the individual but also on enhancing family relationships, social skills, and promoting resilience.

The services provided include:

  • Individual counseling sessions for refugees and resettled individuals;

  • Family counseling on marital relationships, parenting, and family crises;

  • Emotional support and strategies for coping with anxiety, depression, loneliness, or past psychological trauma;

  • Communication skills training, conflict resolution, and adaptation to the new environment;

  • Referral to specialized psychotherapy or social work services if needed;

  • Group workshops focused on social support and psychological resilience;

  • Special psychological support for abused women, teenagers, the elderly, and vulnerable individuals.

Who can benefit from these services?

  • Individuals in the early stages of migration or resettlement;

  • Members of families under psychological stress due to displacement, lack of residence, or insecurity;

  • Those in need of conversation, empathy, guidance, or professional accompaniment.

How to apply: To receive these services, applicants must complete and submit form B3033. After the initial review, our counselors will contact you to schedule an appointment.

All counseling and psychosocial support services are provided free of charge, confidentially, and without discrimination.
Our counseling team consists of trained counselors, psychotherapists, and social workers.
The choice of counseling language, gender of the counselor, and the manner of the session (in-person or online) will be respected according to your preferences.
