United for Humanity (UFH)
nited for Humanity (UFH) was established in 2019 as a specialized humanitarian division operating under the umbrella of the Scottish Refugee Council (Charity Registration Number: SC008639 – Company Registration Number: SC145067), headquartered in Glasgow, Scotland. The foundation of this division marked a significant step toward expanding the reach of humanitarian assistance and accelerating the provision of legal, social, and advisory services to refugees and individuals seeking international protection.
Operating within the legal and administrative framework of its parent organization, UFH is committed to creating effective and reliable pathways for the timely delivery of humanitarian support. Built upon the core principles of humanity, equality, transparency, and respect for human dignity, UFH strives to respond swiftly and comprehensively to the critical needs of refugees facing crisis and displacement.
As both an operational arm of the Scottish Refugee Council and a strategic bridge connecting charitable organizations across other European countries, UFH plays a central role in fostering coordination, cooperation, and capacity-building among institutions pursuing common humanitarian goals. Through this network, UFH promotes shared learning, resource integration, and the implementation of joint projects designed to protect, empower, and socially integrate refugees throughout Europe.
The UFH team consists of experts in human rights, social work, migration law, psychology, and intercultural communication who serve with professionalism, compassion, and unwavering commitment. Their work encompasses a wide range of services, including legal counselling, psychosocial support, housing and resettlement guidance, and assistance to vulnerable groups such as women and children.
Through innovative digital outreach and modern communication technologies, UFH ensures faster and more inclusive access to humanitarian support, reinforcing the mission of the Scottish Refugee Council to defend human dignity without borders or discrimination.
Today, United for Humanity stands as an integral part of the international humanitarian network—dedicated to bridging compassion and action, and to transforming the values of solidarity, justice, and mercy into tangible realities for thousands of refugees across Europe.
